Dat Silly Grl
Lonely, didn’t know why,
Didn't know why,
I wanted to but I didn't cry.
Depressed, didn't know since when,
Didn't know since when,
I was lost even in my own den.
Frustrated,
Didn't know why,
I only heard myself sigh.
Disturbed, didn't know since when,
I was alone,
Scared of every men.
.
No friends in sight,
Only enemies around to fight.
Dreams lost on the midway road,
I was ignored,
But why?
And then, that silly girl walked by.
.
Smiling,
Her face spread the beauty I had never seen,
Which gave me my smile,
That never had been.
Singing,
Her glossing lips danced to the song,
Got the happiness,
For which I used to long.
Dancing,
Her cheerful hair blew past her blue eyes,
Gave me the freedom,
That broke the shackles of my lies.
.
Her eyes, didn't know why,
Livened everything, which was before dry.
Nerved myself to ask her, her name,
As she turned, calm winds that came,
Told me,
To win her love was then my aim,
My effort too, wasn’t so lame,
‘ 'Sweksha’ was her name.
.
Waited for her everyday for hours,
When she arrived,we communed with our hearts.
Recited my poems and spoke of our joys,
Laughed and sang together as if we were Gods’ favourite toys.
Dressed up as a husband and a wife,
We played as if we were in a strife,
To fight out all the odds, for our lives,
I held her tight to save her from enemies knives.
…
The sight of her grace sent my heart throbbing,
I felt her presence in my shadow when I
was alone walking.
Moments with her counted almost to a year,
I Love Her,
I Love Her,
Thats the only thing that I used to hear.
..
First time,don’t know why,
I wasn’t feeling shy.
A poem to recite my love for her in my hand,
Went to her house which was made on sand.
Shocked! I know since when,
Since I saw her surrounded by men.
Lying down,
With just a single frown,
Her face, composed,
Eyes closed,
Beautiful,
Wonderful.
The virus overpowered and killed her,
Which passed on to her from her mother,
“SWEKSHA…..”
…
..
I threw my poem away,
Silent,
Nothing did I say.
Lonely, I know why,
I know why,
I want to and I cry.
Depressed, I know why,
I know why,
I want to but I don’t die.
Didn't know why,
I wanted to but I didn't cry.
Depressed, didn't know since when,
Didn't know since when,
I was lost even in my own den.
